One of the things I enjoy being in Second Life is a TINY. I am now a fox, foremost, but also have a bunny and an elephant. We are knee-high to regular avatars, when we are tiny, and cute as the proverbial button. Most are animals: tigers, otters, dogs, pigs. Two legged, but there are also quadrapeds such as pegasus (guess that would be pegasi?). Places, such as Raglan Shire, are made just for tinies.

Recently, I have begun to make things for tinies. When Fox Obviate and I recently went to a themed party in Farhaven, we went wearing matching Zorro outifts. For Christmas, I decided to make tiny versions of the outfits for our tiny foxes.

My next major project became a tiny interpretation of the Sopwith Camel. There were things about physical objects (ones that, in Second Life, have the property of gravity) that came whopping me in the face to catch my attention. I learned that the maximum number of prims you can have is 31. I was able to get good advice from friends and though I now have the plane at 30 prims, plus my avatar counting as one, I should be able to shave off about 3 more prims and that will allow me to make a passenger seat. After dueling with the flying script (which is being changed because I actually had one designed for helicopter-like motions), I finally got the critter to fly….and I did…I soared.
I think I’m going to enjoy designing for tinies.
