Host, Cypress Rosewood, interviews Cheri Bing, who owns the NYC sim, for the one-year anniversary of his show, When Worlds Collide. This is one of my favorite shows which broadcasts into Second Life. A mixture of Second Life news, interviews and music, Cypress has spotlighted guest after guest, bringing prominence to artistic, architectural, musical, and other endeavors every Monday in Jarang in an open air studio.
This week’s guest is a real-life resident of Manhatten, has created a New York City sim, that Cypress noted has the flavor and texture of the city in real life, which includes a 910-prim build of the Twin Towers. It is wonderful to see people, like Cheri Bing, who come into Second Life, and have more far-reaching concerns and make efforts, within their virtual properties, to create a means for philanthropic fund-raising and bring awareness to a variety of programs close to their hearts.
Cypress, too, continues to use his wonderful music to these ends, on many occasions, including an event coming up on Sunday, January 20th at the Africa sim for an AIDS and poverty fundraiser. The concert features the music of Cypress, Thom Dowd and Fricker performing Native American flute music starting at 12 noon SLT.
Congratulations to Cypress and his great show!
